Description

Add a point of entry and architectural interest to your miniature world with this handcrafted ceramic entrance gate.

Based on the traditional "Cổng Tam Quan" from Vietnam, this piece provides structure and a sense of scale to your display. It’s designed to work with your vision, not compete with it.

  • Sized for Your Display: Two options available, designed to complement bonsai, penjing, or aquascapes without overpowering them.
  •  Built to Last:  High-fired natural clay is weatherproof and durable for years of indoor or outdoor use, unlike plastic alternatives.
  •  Authentic Vietnamese Craftsmanship: Handmade in the historic Bat Trang village, each piece has unique, subtle variations.
  •  Versatile & Safe: A functional bonsai figurine that also works as an aquarium statue or in terrarium figurines displays. Non-toxic and pH neutral.
  •  Display Ideas:  Use it to frame an entrance in a bonsai pot, create a focal point in a Zen garden, or provide a swim-through structure in an aquarium.

Each gate is carefully packaged for safe worldwide delivery. We stand by our quality.

Story

A Gateway to a Different Space

The Three Entrance Gate is a classic feature of Vietnamese architecture. You see it at the entrance to pagodas, temples, and historic community spaces. It marks the boundary between the everyday world and a place of significance.

The three passages are often interpreted as representing fundamental concepts: Heaven, Earth, and Humanity.

In your display, this three entrance gate statue serves a similar purpose. It creates a visual and symbolic entry point, inviting the viewer into the miniature landscape you have carefully composed. It’s a piece of architecture that adds meaning and structure.

A Part of Your Landscape

Adding a structure like this to a bonsai or penjing display is about creating depth and narrative. It provides scale, context, and a focal point that complements the tree. It becomes a quiet part of the story you are telling.

Your choice to use a handcrafted piece also supports a small, family-run workshop and helps preserve a traditional craft in Vietnam. It’s a direct connection between your hobby and the artisans who share a similar passion for patience and detail.

Care

Crafted from durable Hoang Tho clay, your Viet Potter figurine can withstand water and outdoor conditions.

Here's how to clean and care for your ceramic figurine:

  1. Rinse: Gently rinse the figurine with clean water.
  2. Soft Brush: Use a soft brush (an old toothbrush works great!) to gently scrub away any moss or dirt.
  3. Air Dry: Allow the figurine to air dry completely.

Please note: Avoid using any chemicals or abrasive cleaning tools, as these may damage the figurine's surface.
