Shipping Policy

This page explains how order processing, shipping, tracking, delivery estimates, customs, and shipping-related issues work at The Viet Potter.

Order Processing Time

Orders are typically processed within 1-4 business days before they enter the international shipping flow.

Processing time includes order preparation, packing, and shipment handling before the parcel leaves Vietnam.

How Shipping Works

Orders from The Viet Potter usually move through three main stages:

  1. Order Processing in Vietnam Your order is prepared and packed before it leaves Vietnam.
  2. International Transit The parcel moves through the international shipping leg to the destination country.
  3. Local Delivery Once the parcel arrives in the destination country, it is handed to a local delivery carrier for final delivery to your address.

Because the shipment moves through multiple stages, tracking visibility may not look the same from start to finish.

Tracking Information

A tracking number may be issued before the local carrier has scanned the parcel in the destination country.

During the international handoff stage, tracking may appear inactive or show statuses such as “Label Created” before local delivery scanning begins.

Tracking usually becomes clearer after the parcel reaches the destination country and is scanned by the local carrier.

The fastest way to review the latest visible tracking status is through the tracking link in your shipping confirmation email.

Estimated Delivery Times

Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed exact delivery dates.

Typical shipping estimates:

  • USA: 10–12 business days
  • Canada: 10–12 business days
  • UK: 7–10 business days
  • EU & Rest of Europe: 10–15 business days
  • Australia: 12–15 business days
  • New Zealand & Japan: 10–15 business days
  • Singapore: 3–5 business days
  • South Korea: 5–7 business days
  • Rest of Asia: 10–15 business days

Delivery timing may vary because of customs processing, weather, international handoff timing, destination-country conditions, or local carrier delays.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the order and destination.

We offer free shipping for orders within the contiguous United States only. This does not include Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, or other non-contiguous U.S. territories.

Customs, Duties, and Taxes

We do not add hidden store charges after checkout.

However, import duties, taxes, VAT, or customs charges may apply depending on your destination country. These charges are determined by local customs or tax authorities and are the buyer’s responsibility where applicable.

We cannot estimate customs charges in advance because they vary by country.

Shipping Address Accuracy

Please make sure your shipping address is entered correctly at checkout.

If you need to request an address change, contact us as soon as possible after placing the order.

Once an order has already been processed or shipped, we may not be able to change the shipping address or delivery method.

If a parcel cannot be delivered because of an incorrect or incomplete address, additional shipping charges may apply before redelivery can be arranged.

Delays Outside Normal Estimates

Shipping delays can happen for reasons outside our direct control.

These may include:

  • customs processing
  • weather disruption
  • airport or transit backlog
  • local carrier delays
  • holiday or peak-season congestion
  • destination-country delivery conditions

For this reason, delivery estimates should be treated as expected ranges, not guaranteed arrival dates.

Lost Package or Delivery Issues

If your tracking appears inactive longer than expected, or if your order has passed the normal delivery estimate for your region, contact us with your:

  • order number
  • tracking number
  • short description of the issue

A quiet tracking page does not always mean the parcel is lost, especially during international handoff. We may need to review the shipment status before confirming the next step.
