Architecture of Light

This sculpture creates a unique dialogue between structure and space. The open-mesh design, meticulously woven from fine 24-gauge wire, allows the piece to possess architectural depth while maintaining a sense of airiness and transparency.

Versatile Display:

  • Outdoors: Under the sun, the copper glows brilliantly, creating a dynamic highlight in your bonsai pot or rock garden.
  • Indoors: Placed on a shelf or curio cabinet, it transforms under artificial spotlight. The wire layers catch the light, casting intricate, artistic shadows that extend the sculpture's presence onto the surface around it.

A Living Material

We intentionally chose raw copper for its responsive nature. It is not static; it lives and breathes with its environment. As it rests in your garden, exposed to the elements, the copper will slowly develop a rich, deep patina. This natural aging process aligns perfectly with the philosophy of Wabi-sabi—honoring the beauty of things that change with time.

The Artist’s Study: "Evening Bell"

This piece was created by sculptor Nguyen Tuan Hoang in 2025, during his immersive research phase for his upcoming 2026 solo exhibition, "Evening Bell" .

To truly understand the soul of Vietnamese temple architecture before creating his large-scale exhibition works, Hoang scaled his vision down. He crafted these miniatures not just as objects, but as architectural studies.

Why weave so meticulously?

By hand-weaving every wire loop, Hoang forced himself to slow down and "absorb" the structural proportions and roof angles of traditional pagodas. The weaving process itself became a meditation, allowing him to observe how light interacts with the void spaces of the structure.
